Transplant Fuckery

JiminyCricket
JiminyCricketstarted grow question 4 years ago
I have four plants I transplanted from 1gal to 3gal fabric pots. When flipping them I had a bunch of dirt fall out the side of the pot down onto the buds. I now have dry dirt stuck everywhere on the buds. What should I do? Will it hurt to leave on? Should I spray with PHed water?

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Not too worry buddy, it hss happened to us all at sum point.. Yes u can spray ofmost affected area's with sum ph'd water.. Ur best time to do this tho wud b during daytime.. She will end up with wet bufd of course so ideally u need them to dry asap wen she gas been cleaned.. Remove her ftom tent.. Spray her.. Shake her branches gently to remove ant excess.. But her ibk in tent but keep an oscillating fan around her helping her to dry asap.. If done correctly u will have no wet buds n she will not get budrot.. If its just a few grains of dirt here n ther it sudnt b a problem tho n mite just blow off with a short sharp blow of air.. Stay safe n gud luck around harvest time.. 👍🍀

I don't know if I would wet flowering buds.. and i'm wondering why you waited so long to transplant. Normally you would want to do this before flower as the roots won't really have time to properly setting into their new environment and can cause some possible issues.. I hope this does not happen thou! I'd probably just give them a good shaking.. When you harvest if you need you can give them a bath to help remove debris from the buds. Cheers and happy growing!
