Looks like your seedling is either upside down or fully above ground? The white part is the root and should be buried in the soil! I don't know what the brown part is, but maybe that's the plant's leaves dying off.

Definitely looks like it was planted shallow and upside down. As others have suggested, try gently removing the soil around the seed pod and get that root down the hole after. It will likely recover as long as you dont break it in the process.

Unfortunately the seed looks to be upside down. When the seed is first germinated, the white sprout you see is the taproot, and will be the beginning of all of your root system. The cotyledons, which are the first two rounded leaves of the plant will emerge from the seed shell once it pushes to the surface. Not all hope is lost. I would VERY gently and carefully see if you can uncover the seed, reposition it in a small hole with the root pointing downwards and the seed upwards and gently cover with surrounding moist soil. Cover the container to keep the humidity as high as possible as she will need all the help she can get!

The pointy end of the seed is the “bottom”, and this is the end which the taproot should emerge from. Experts advise that this pointy end should go into the soil first, and if all goes according to plan the seed casing should be discarded naturally as the taproot grows downward and pushes the rest upward through the soil. Just found this.. sorry I'm tired .. lol

I mean I was going to take the soil away from the seed to show you I put it the right way. But Im 99% that I did. don't want to disturb her as well

So is it OK if it curls a bit? Should I put more soil around it to support it and straighten it up?

NorCal_Kannabliss - I planted her the tip upwards so shall i turn the tip downwards? Surely that can't be right? Could it be the soil?
