Coco grow, runoff EC levels LOWER than input levels. Hungry plants or something more sinister?

Since getting a better light, runoff EC has been dropping steadily, and is now LOWER than input (~ -75 micros below). Not just an anomaly, this has been every feed for 3 days and is predictable. Could my plants be asking for more food in response to the growth from the new light?

If your in veg a simple way to know your girls want more is to look at the stems of your leaves. If it isn't an genetically purple plant then those stems on your leaves should be green. When they start getting red or purple then they are asking for more. This only applies to while their in veg mode. Cheers

@gmslave I'm 4 weeks into veg and the plant doesn't have any purple genetics, but there is a very slight purple coloring on the stems of the leaves, just above the nodes. Very faint, but definitely there. More prominent on the thicker stems of the bigger leaves. But all looks normal otherwise. I'm only following a light feeding schedule, which I built up gradually and have kept it at the same level for about a week for fear of pushing too hard. But no signs of any toxicity, I think I'll push the nutes a little further, increase fertigation events and see how she responds. @Fusion interesting you say about the pH, that was my first thought. I rarely check the pH of the runoff, just the EC, so I started monitoring the pH for last couple of days, and it's exactly the same (by 'same', I mean that the runoff pH is still around 6.1 compared to an input of 5.9, just as it's always been). I'm going to mix up some slightly higher strength solution and keep what I've got left of this batch to one side. If they start showing any signs it's too much, I can immediately replace the solution in the coco with the weaker feed. Hopefully EC levels will start to get back to normal over the next couple of days. Thanks guys!

More nuits she's aborbing the better. Could be minor pH flux that makes her drink more. As long as she's getting a balanced diet its a good thing.
