Nutrients that work without spending alot

So my first round I used just store bought miracle grow nutrients. Im old school and that worked for reggie buds back then. But wont make the sane mistake this time, as even after low I think it lead to newt burn. Any recommendations that are not super expensive but work forsoil?

Killab1405, I looked up the soil and the nute you recommended. Thx but im confused cuz the soil got at least 50% bad reviews? And calimagic seem to be specific to hydroponics? Again Im using soil based medium, and looking for a great nute supplement that wont break the bank. But if you have had great luck with them, and what im looking up is wrong, please let me know ! FormaDay 25. I can't figure out why the leaves still lack vitality. I water every 3-4 days with 300-500ml, alternating between water and advance A-B. Pots are 14l. Soil mixed with perlite and dolomite. Light is 55cm from the top. Mixing fan + one blowing in. Two smaller upper vents are open.

Coco grow, runoff EC levels LOWER than input levels. Hungry plants or something more sinister?Since getting a better light, runoff EC has been dropping steadily, and is now LOWER than input (~ -75 micros below). Not just an anomaly, this has been every feed for 3 days and is predictable. Could my plants be asking for more food in response to the growth from the new light?Week 4

Soil amendingThis 20 gallon pot is Fox Forest soil heavily amended. There are 3 plants growing and doing great. I want to plant new plants where the clover is growing as soon as these finish. My plan is to slowly add amended soil to the top. Will this work? Will the next round be successful?

Should I add nutes? If so, with my Fox Farm soil, how early should I be adding said nutes? Fox Farm seems to say everything i need is already in the soil..My 5 gal cloth pots are layered with approx 1/3 Cali Super Soil (bottom) and 2/3 Fox Farm Ocean Forest (top). I assume when the roots reach the super soil all nutes will be supplied. But what happens until then? Should i provide nutes until they reach the SS and if so what kind?
