Need magnification to see trichomes. A cellphone camera zoom isn't enough.
It's a total guess, otherwise.. when it looks ripe, if new to growing, then i'd suggest you want another 7 days.
order a $5 monocle and start observing trichomes

How long until harvest?It's 5 wks since pistals started showing. Bud growth has slowed and ~5% of the trichomes on lower sugar leaves have turned Amber. 1st grow, not sure what to expect, but thought buds would be bigger by now.
