Anyone tried or has experience using Food Grade Phosphoric Acid as a PH Down?I bought a bottle of certified Food Grade Phosphoric Acid (85%)? The PH Down from GH, and they use food grade phosphoric acid in their product (generalhydroponics.com/products/ph-down-liquid/). Has anyone tried this? Any tips? I was always wondering if im calculating nutrient mix right.
For example:
My tap water is 350 ppm.
In late veg i should feed 800 ppm mix.
How should i mix? :
1. 350 ppm tap + 450 ppm nutes = 800 ppm mix
OR
2. 350 ppm tap + 800 ppm nutes = 1150 ppm mix
