Ran into a lot of problems this week unfortunately. Some of buds developed a fungus(botrytis). Don't know how to stop this as I'm growing outdoors. Nevertheless, the buds that are clean are growing nicely. Hopefully into the home stretch of the grow now.

Would now be the correct time to start adding nutrients to the medium? Just don't want to introduce them too early to avoid burning the plant.

What type of soil do you have? It likely has nutrients for a bit as roots colonize new areas of pot. Don't be so eager to fertilize. It's a small portion of the whole equation. plus, if roots don't exist there, you fertizilize 3-4 times before that point now the roots hit overfertilzied soil and bad things happen. Wait for those cotyledons to show a hint of yellow. Start diluted in soil. Slowly build up. Observe and react to plant as you go. It dictates pace. Keep track of when you irrigate and when you irrigate with nutes for future reference when issues inevitably crop up.

Less is more. So take care with the recommendation of dosage on the bottle. If you are growing in soil with organic matter, you should use 1/8 of the dose, only 2 times in the month!! only give more if your plant is with deficiency.

Hi there! Peat moss holds water much better than normal soil soi maybe add some perlite to give more drainige so you dont overwater them? This is what I found on peat moss: Preparing Peat Moss In its natural state, peat moss does not absorb water well. To prepare the peat moss, spread it out over a plastic covering or another contained surface. Moisten it thoroughly and allow it to dry in the sun for two to three weeks. Throughout this time, the peat becomes more absorbent, and important micronutrients also begin to proliferate in the medium. Do not let the medium dry out or become overly moist. Also, water it in hot weather, and if it rains, do not allow the accumulated water to sit. Once complete, mix the peat with identical quantities of potting soil. Adding perlite at this time will also help with aeration for optimal root development. To complete the process, simply add some quality compost and mix everything thoroughly.

Cannabis is a canvas. Don't be afraid to make mistakes.. you might just grow ;) All plants on my page are autoflowers, and none of them would be as they are, if un-trained... Plan for the best scenario.. a healthy plant is barely affected by stress. For a first time grow, I recommend to not train, so that you can see the progression of improvement gained by learning to train your plant for more main-colas. Feel free to ask me anything. Happy growing!

Hello I'm not seeing any pistils yet, so you're not flowering until you see those small wispy white hairs. Perhaps this plant has a longer veg cycle than most...otherwise it could be the rare autoflower that actually is a photoperiod and needs the 12/12 light schedule. I think it's like 1% turn out to not be autoflowers. Wait a bit longer and see what happens. One way or another it will flower since its outdoors...it would just be huge if it turned out to be a photoperiod plant.

You are confusing two different things. The harvest time affect the maturity of thricomes (clear, white or amber). White thricomes are at their peak THC content while amber thricomes have a more sedated effect and degraded THC. While clear Thricomes have a more head effect, you will not be able to get a sativa effect out of an indica strain. Indica or sativa effect depends on the strains genetics

Make sure you are free of pests and fungus, if everything is ok, then it should be ok, you can always supplement with some grow nutes and calmag, just a tiny bit of both and if the plant starts doing better you will know it was just a slight N deficiency that didn't even have enough time to dsmage your leaf.

Hi. The space between nodes Will increase but no new sites will be created. natural vertical growth spurt, Is the stretching of plant and The stretch usually half size of the plant. If you are outside this is not a big concern, light will reach every site on the plant. In contrast, for interior grows this can be a problem with space and light giving to the plants(equal amount of light to all the plants.) Happy grow🌱🌱🌱🌱!!!

The theory is: if you remove the lower buds, you'll get larger, more potent bud from other sites. Most evidence of this is anecdotal, but the majority of home growers swear by it so it's still compelling. The drawback to this is that the lower bud is great for making hash or edibles. Oddly enough, your weakest buds make your most potent product. You'll have to decide what you want. I just lollipopped for the first time to put it to the test.

The leaves are responsible for photosynthesis. Your plants are always better off the more leaves they hold onto. Only cut off a leaf if: It's blocking light to bud sites You need to open the plant up for airflow The leaves themselves are getting no light so can't be productive The leaves are sick and dying As part of a whole other training method, like lollipopping Otherwise, she's better off with the leaf.

Hey, I do a old school fix from slugs. I put a empty butter container in the ground and add water and sugar to it. The slugs will come up and fall into the container and then they can’t get out. Try and put the container close to the base of the plant and 2 inches or so into the ground. That should help you out. Hope that helps ya and happy growing

Outdoors, just let her run wild! I would only defoliate at this point if the humidity outside is 70% or higher. Even then, I would be very careful not to overdo it. Removing 7 or 8 fan leaves from the most densely packed areas will open up airflow plenty. She's a beauty!

It's cheap and you have at least 5 weeks left, likely 6 or 7. Get some more. A pH of 7 will severely affect what nutrients she can use. If you can't get buffer, you're better off catching rainwater and using that (it's usually more acidic).

Your girl is gorgeous and plenty of life and like my three outdoor beast girls, your shows the signs of age. Pluck leaves away later, now the leaf in the picture is still doing photosynthesis. Leaves fall will increase day by day. Good luck and stay relaxed, all will be fine. 👊

Hi again, looking at your diary's pictures I don't see any disaster, she's is almost half way of flowering. Botrytis is hard to fight. I grow outdoors too and the only advice I can give to you is to protect her from rain and dew. If u cannot complete flowering indoor, outdoors try to build a temporary tent with transparent PVC film to protect her (as I did throughout my girls' growth phase). I hope not but if new fungus spots reappear try to prepare a mix of common vinyl glue and sulphur powder and apply ASAP. Maybe this could help.

This are the stages of a cannabis growth: SEEDLING: From seed until the cotyledons die (the round baby leaves that first open when a seed sprouts), this usually takes 3 weeks VEGETATIVE: With an established root system, the plant grows fast. For photoperiods this stage lasts as long as you keep the light schedule above 12 hours a day. Autoflowers skip this stage. When the day light (outdoors) or the artificial light is less than 12 hours a day flowering stage begins, which comprises of 2 stages: PREFLOWER / STRETCH. the plant enters a rapid growth stage, its height doubles or even triples rapidly, making space for the flowers.
