Mix 1 gallon of water with 1 cup of vinegar. Pour the solution around the base of plants in the soil you are adjusting.

get a PH meter and test it.. there's no real way of "guessing".. also PH fluctuates with time if you let nutrient-solution stand for a while, so you would want to test more regularly anyways (especially if growing in hydro).. best advice: get an EC meter right away as well, so you know how much you feed your plants too.. following labels of nutrient manufacturers can be a bit misleading, as they are usually basing it on RO water, and as well bigger plants in big environments.. I measure my EC and usually end up requiring a maximum of 1/3rd of the recommendations in my growing environtment

It's easier to get a pH meter and, for example, phosphoric acid for pH down 👆 than to guess... off the top of your head... then mistakes will pop up, and you won't understand what's what.... better to be aware of what you're doing! The cost of the meter and the bottle: $10 + $15 = $25. JUST $25 and you won't have a hundred problems, but you'll have a hundred answers! 👆 Good luck, brother! ✊😇
