PH of RUNOFF too high (7.0)

Does someone know how I can get the runoff to lower down? I always (since the start, now its week 10) made sure the feeding-water was about 6-6.5. After a few weeks the runoff dropped from 7.3 to 7.0 but since a few weeks it won't drop any further. Any advices? thanks!

For your next grow, try adding some gypsum the soil. This will help keep it more acidic. Not sure if it would help to top-dress now... think best option is maybe a slightly more acidic feed, but don't go too crazy as drastic shifts aren't good either. If this is common.. could be from nutes, could be from the flora that existed in your soil too. Look into soil amendments that decrease pH, gypsum is one and it provides Ca and some S too. a very useful amendment for soil. I didn't notice the pH issue in other question -- definitely something to get in line before making adjustments to fix a leaf symptom... it could be the cause all by itself. (nute calc would point to that end too)

So how should you handle runoff pH? Check pH and EC of the runoff regularly and track the changes. If EC of the runoff and watering do not stay within 10% of each other, adjust fertilizing concentration to compensate. If pH does not stabilize within .6 of the target pH, act to counter the effects before your plant suffers Extreme reading (>1.0 from target) need to be handled quickly Taking readings directly from the soil around the roots is always better. However, it’s difficult and invasive to the plant, which is why we check runoff pH. I hope this helped you. Happy growing! 👊
