I personally don't like handling a seed that has sprouted a tap root - too much of a chance the tap root is going to be broken. I moisten the soil in the pot the plant is going to spend its entire life in (just the center) and put the seed in about 1/8-1/4" deep and put it in my tent with the lights on... having the lights on helps with the warmth needed and when the seed sprouts, it doesn't have to spend any time adjusting to the amount of light it gets... much like planting a sunflower seed outside, for example... the seedling is immediately drinking in the light it needs to grow.
Good luck!
I soak seeds in water for about 24 hours then plant them. I have never had a need for H2O2 which is an oxidizer and generally not good for living things so if you do use it, don't use too much.
Hi there
There’s all different methods people use you need to find what suits you best,
personally I like to use a cup of water and socked for 10 hours, then into a paper towel until tap roots out then into a mineral sponge but thats just me..
Best of luck 🌱
