What can I do to improve the growth on lower branches? I've already topped my plant, but I'm still a newbie on training techniques. Thank you for your help!

You can LST ( low stress training) the top branches by bending them down so the lower branches can catch up. Look up LST videos on youtube if you not sure how to do it. Good luck!

I would snap off some of the upmost fan leaves. Starting with one on both sides.
