Can coco loco soil use liquid nutrients? Or does it not need it?

If I’m using Fox Farm Coco Loco soil, do I need to add nutrients? I’ve read somewhere that if I’m using coco noir, I might be better off using hydroponic nutrients? I purchased the fox farm liquid nutrient trio soil formula, but haven’t used it yet since I’m not sure.

Hello So with coco loco you do still need to use nutrients.if you had gotten the ko ko bop blend you may not have needed much nutrients because that has a lot more to it. But with the loco using the fox farm nutrients will work good, personally i think it's best if your using bottled nutrients to use the same brand for most nutrients because they're made to complement one another and an even balance. The beauty with coco loco is you won't have to water as often. Start with low nutrient measurements in those first couple weeks of growth and then it will steadily increase with time. Where your plants look like they are now I'd say you should be adding somewhere around 1-2 tsp of each of the trio. Then as you go into flowering that'll change. If you have an ec meter that can be a big help for coco, but at the very least be ph'ing the water and the nutrient waterings. Happy growing. ✌️

those plants are weeks old hey? They look good.. You must be in a northern climate as they are all searching for sun. I tried to research Fox Farm Coco Loco Soil.. And the info from the company was awful in my opinion but yea I guess you got to use what you have on hand.. But yes they are exceptionally vague about what is actually inside that mix..

Fox Farm Coco Loco Soil.. Soil is a very important word there... Coco coir is coco fibers buffered but not much else so the needs for nutrients is much greater... Your not growing in coco.. Your growing in Soil mixed with coco, I hope this helps clear up some of your confusion.
