Any ideas? This one and one and that I gifted sumbody one is doin basically the same thing. His started 3 weeks ago and mine 2. Dif ferts at both places, dif conditions, he has well water I use declorinated city water. He has fox farm ocean forest soil while I use promix.

Looks like a ph issue. If you are growing in straight promix in a hole in the ground the dirt around the plant seeps into the promix, promix has lime to balance the ph. The soil will throw the promix out of whack. If you use straight promix outdoors it should be in a planter and dug down into the ground to keep the root system from heating to much. If you dont have a soil ph tester you should get one to know where your at. The plant will keep getting worse unless you figure this out. Cheers

Hi Mate, TM only 2 possibilities: 1st Ph issues/fluctuations due to different soil composition. Probably some roots are feeding on the mix and other roots are feeding on the soil around (it seems to be a clay/calcareous soil) 2nd Tobacco mosaic viruses infection. There is nothing you can do about it. Generally plants don't die, maybe they produce a little less. Even for the ph problem there is nothing you can do. I advise you to wait because I am confident that everything will be fine anyway Good luck🤞
