You can but if the lighting schedule is different than your outside light times you could force the plant to try and flower early. This will stunt it as it goes to flower then goes back to veg. Which can also end up possibly turning your girl into a hermie. Best time is to put it out is when your local light times start dropping and flowering would occur normally.
