So plant #1 is still having some Calcium deficiency issues. I’m using RO water and giving the recommended dose of CaliMagic which is 1tsp(5ml)/gal. I’m in DWC and using LED full spectrum lighting. Why can’t I stop these spots? Should I give more than recommended dose of CaliMagic
I'll elaborate what messes with a lot of people is that there is actually and excess of calcium and almost all cal mag formulas are formulated with nitrogen for Transportation except 1 that I know of.. Anyway Cal-Mag is gathering dust on my shelf.. I grow everything all strains with a lot of intense led light...
Hello Cali_Grown_420, I've had a little bit of experience with DWC and I also have incountered this problem maybe I can help, I don't think its a CaMg problem what are you running your ph levels at.
Honestly looks like a pest problem to me. Have the same issue happening with my 3 blue kings out door. I've got a plague of pests this year. Ordered some nematodes try and solve the soil issue, tobacco spray for leaves.
Stop using Cal-Mag.... It's a coco thing.. Believe me or not.. I don't care.. I grow plants... I didn't read books now I am, interesting stuff ... I grow trees and a lot of the reason is because I stopped believe stupid secondary bs... like you need water chiller.. and you need this and that... all this is... is your triple formula has all the calcium you need. you keep feeding cal-mag if you want but it's absolutely 100% not needed for a lot of growers.. EXCEPT COCO growers..
