Cure while gone?

Do a quick cure my friend. This is how I do it. I chop, then do a good wet trim, then I put all bud and separate from the stalk. I put into my 8 space hanger into a closet until it starts to dry and almost feels smokable but it's not. I then put all the bud into a cooler and close the lid, just until it rehydrates. After its wet again I open the lid and let it start to dry again. When top is dry bring the bottom to the top and let dry, keep doing this until it's actually smokable and its ready to jar it up. Let dry an extra day before jarring if you arent going to be there to burp it. Cheers friend

Not to be negative, but chopping now will give you good tasting weed of brick quality. Your trichomes haven't developed much THC yet. Your best bet might be to cut them the day you leave and hang them in 45-50% RH area. Then you can jar it when you get back. Itll probably be a bit dry when you get back but you can jar it with boveda packs and rehydrate it. Unless of course you have a trusted friend who can water them for you. They still have at least 4 weeks to go and haven't even come close to fattening to their max potential.
