Weed smells dry like regular cut grass. What to do?

I harvested parts of my laughing buddha and I've dried it for a few days now and the thing is, it smells like regular cut grass. When I touch it it smells like it's supposed to but when I open the jar it smells only like cut grass. Other plants have their unique smell tho. Help

@Cremo The curing stage takes a little time
The Grass taste you are getting is from the excess chlorophyl still in the buds
this will disapear once cured and the Nice smells will return
To cure it you will need to place the Fully dried buds into glass jars and seal .
then once a day for 3 weeks you need to open jar for 5 minutes
then the next 3 weeks open for a minute or so then after that just open occasionly like once a week or two

Hi!
The drying has an important role on the smell. If you dry too fast or in too dry/too warm conditions you will lose some terpenes and normally drying takes 1-2 weeks and after that is the curing. Sometimes the true smell comes only when cured long enough. So I would not worry just yet and if it hits it is not that bad thing.

Don't worry about dried smell friend it's the smoke/taste and effect that matters, if you haven't already stick some in a grinder n give it a test, I've had hay smellin weed before that has been real nice

Ready for the chop? Day 59 of floweringDoes it still need more time? Hairs look 75-90%(depending on what cola you look at) orange and trichs look about right. Not sure if I'm seeing new pistols or their just kinda folding inwards. My preference is to harvest it for a nice balanced effect. Just a little couch lock.

Help!! Do I harvest?About 50% milky, 40% clear trichome heads. But in some minor spots, they are all dark brown/amber. Its supposed to be a Forbidden Cherry Automatic (Dutch Passion), but did not turn purple. I want it to be a bit more relaxing, indica-like. Week 11, outdoor balcony grow.
