For an outdoor grow, what would you recommend to discourage squirrels and other pests?

Hello Prevention is your best and safest way. Prevent them from even getting to your stuff. A cheap chicken wire will prevent the animals from getting too close. Or they sell deer wire that 6 to 8 foot tall. They can have anything that grow outside the wire. Everybody's happy. Good Luck. Chuck.

Like Chucky mentioned, chicken wire. Also companion plants work really well!
Have a look at my Diesel Auto Diary. It's outdoor and thrives mostly because of the guardians. And most important no pests...👌

Bears, get a lot of bears, a momma bear would be the best one, grizzly bears preferably. Jk buy bear piss perfume and spray it near the crop. Hehe
