Hi,
You can try any technique outside as long as you are not passed the 3rd week of flower some prefer 2 week. you can try any hard stress technique Before this period. Topping, scrog, etc.
Lst im still doing it but not in the harden stem. I've been opening branches so there is some air flow and light reaching the bud sites (I just like doing it plus i check on the plants while I do this).
In conclusion, you can bend your plant as much as you want until the stems are too harden to bend and you can not try hst after the 2 week of flower.
