New branch from stem in Late Flowering?

Is it usual for a plant to grow a new buds from from the stem so late into flowering (seems odd to me)?

It happens. I have a plant right now that sprouted two leaves at its base about the size of a marker cap, and there's a golf ball sized bud developing there now. Crazy.

Mouldy, webbed budsThe humidity was too high when I went away and now my buds are mouldy. Obviously I’m heart broken (mainly at my own stupidity because I should know better!) and I wondered if there was anything I can do to recover some of the crop. Can I wash? spray? Dry out…basically anything?!?

How to achieve compact nugsA few things I learnt from my last grow is that I had very airy buds, my thought process was because the humidity was too high ranging from 70+ so I purchased a dehumidifier and kept my humidity at 45/50, is there any advice to achieve the compact dense buds ?Week 7

When to harvest? and general opinion on the buds :)I have two automatic gorilla cookie flowers. One of them is more advanced in terms of the flowering stage and I'm not sure when I should cut it.
It is currently about three weeks in bloom but I do not have a microscope to check the trichomes. I will only have it in two weeks.

checked the trichomes and they were a little more amber than I anticipated 40% on top buds. Still want to give her one more good flush which would be 2 days from now, before I harvest. Will I still be good or will the trichomes bust by the end of the next flush?Week 17

Discoloration progressing from old fan to colas, is this a concern/requires action?I have some discoloration happening to OB5,more pics in week 6. Started first on few old fan leaves with yellow & brown/purple patches and now is occurring to the several of the colas and is spreading to more fan leaves. Ready for the chop? Day 59 of floweringDoes it still need more time? Hairs look 75-90%(depending on what cola you look at) orange and trichs look about right. Not sure if I'm seeing new pistols or their just kinda folding inwards. My preference is to harvest it for a nice balanced effect. Just a little couch lock.

Should I have thinned out more shoots b4 I sent it to flower?Hi, I was wondering if on future I should thin out the shoots a bit more b4 i turn it to flower to get more light penatration down lower and not be so cramped together. Would i be better of having less buds that may grow bigger or would I just be losing yield if I did that.

Unterentwickelte Buds bei meiner vorderen Pflanze für Woche 11?I think my plant in the front still has pretty immature buds in week 11. The two plants in the tent were planted at the same time. I planted both in the Living-Soil soil and added worm casting and dolomite lime a few days ago. More info in my diary.
