Is it usual for a plant to grow a new buds from from the stem so late into flowering (seems odd to me)?

It happens. I have a plant right now that sprouted two leaves at its base about the size of a marker cap, and there's a golf ball sized bud developing there now. Crazy.

Using Silica to prevent foxtails???Yo growmies!!!.. So, not sure why I always do this.. But I have only been using Silica in veg.. I have been stopping before flower.. Lately my ladies have been foxtailing like fucking crazy.. Would using Silica in flower help to prevent the foxtailing since I can't control heat??Week 6

Can i harvest?Im thinking on harvesting tomorrow, because it would be best when it comes to weather and outside temperature, it only gets worse after this (Summer).

Cheese autoflower Amber trichromes on leaves but white hairs. Harvest or waitCheese autoflower is starting to show amber trichromes on sugar leaves not buds. Like quite a few. Still has lots of white hairs. Very few other harvest signs. Should I start to flush and harvest. Possibly sequencial harvest ?? Or give it a little longer.Week 13
