Is it usual for a plant to grow a new buds from from the stem so late into flowering (seems odd to me)?

It happens. I have a plant right now that sprouted two leaves at its base about the size of a marker cap, and there's a golf ball sized bud developing there now. Crazy.

Help me starting flushing today and found caterpillars and aphids what can I dooooo!!!!! :((((((((Help me I walked out side today and noticed a small piece of my bud rotten .Walked out few hours later and notice 3 more of the colas rotten on the top bust it open and find caterpillars and what looked to be aphid/eggs. How much longer do you think?PE leaves are losing color at this point, she’s getting closer. Not sure how much longer to let this one go. Day 57. Online recommended harvest date says day 55-65. Buds maturing differently.One of my Cola is maturing a lot faster than the others. It's hairs have faded to d brown but buds still swelling. Trichomes clear not cloudy. I'm worried it may hermie and I have other plants in Bloom just earlier stage. Should I consider cutting the one off or would it stress?Week 6

Bad taste buds - curing needed !After 8 days of drying I had to put the buds into jars and to keep them closed for 2 weeks until yesterday when I made a 1st test and the taste is very bad but I don't see any mold..how can I cure them? The smell is very strong but not stinky, is it too late? :/Buds. Other

Help, caterpillars!!!Buds are dense and look more or less ready for harvest. Most trichomes are milky but very few are amber. Should I harvest and remove these bastards? I'm very afraid they will spread to the other plants if I don't. Also, do I need to clean the buds in some way now before drying?Week 13
