What you are talking about are the trichomes and not the terpenes (which are the different flavors that your weed brings out) As for the trichomes, it's hard to tell from photos like this, but it still seems crystalline. the best to harvest is 70% milky and the rest a mix of amber and crystalline Good grow bro

Your not looking at the buds. Your looking at the shake leaves. That's not what you want. Those will ALWAYS be more mature then the bud. Even if ALL of them was amber it wouldn't mean your bud is ready. You need to wait until the bud is swollen enough to check it, itself Also your calyxces.. those are the little round things with a hair coming out of them at the split of each stalk and at the bottom of each bud. This is what holds the buds to the stalks.. it's also the most mature part of the plant (and is the most thc and terp heavy in concentration so save these at harvest for a special joint).. but yeah you'll need to wait for buds to keep growing, or check calyxces If you can't see the buds. You'll know when their cloudy, they look like a frozen piece of ice. Light won't relect off it and it'll be dull looking. Goodluck growmie
