I’m just wondering because I just use water straight from the tap, I wanna know if ph is a key factor, it is the only thing I’m not taking into consideration.

ph is a lot, in veg you really dont see it, when your in flower and your ph was off during veg you will get low yields, the plant does not do what it should to at 100%, now imagine if your ph was off the whole grow, you would get maybe 45% less of a harvest from the plant, when you dial in ph from the start you avoid problems like deficiencies , ph also helps the uptake of the nutrients in to the plant cells that the plant needs, now you get low ph you get all kinds of funky stuff happing. with tap water you want to let it sit for 24hrs to get rid of the chlorine that they put in the water, tapwater is sometimes real high like 8 or higher, you can use lemon juice to lower that, you can also pick up ph up and down, or you can use nutrients that are ph- balanced , imagine that you are on a diet of good stuff how do you think your body will react? now imagine you are on a poor diet of nothing but sweets and junk food, almost the same with ph

Ph controls the plants entire health the same way if the ph in your own body goes out of whack sickness follows. You could have perfect ph water for your girls but then when you add your nutes it will fall to unacceptable levels for your girls to be able to uptake what they need. Main grower tools for very successful grows is ph tds reader check ph and ec going in and what is coming out, ph of the soil is very important. Ph up and ph down to adjust after putting nutes in water. Dawn soap and water and spray wand incase of bugs, a real good light and good environmental control, dont over feed and you can grow very well. Cheers friend

Perfect conditions, will always yield the best result.. but the plants grow fine in nature, and the best you can do out there is influence it a little. so as long as you don't end up out of the range of what the plant can tolerate for Ph, it'll grow fine. Obviously it won't give maximum yield, but it'll give you buds worth smoking.

Hey Mate, the right pH value will make that your plant gets the right food. Certain nutrients are available under certain pH values. Have a look! https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Soil_pH_effect_on_nutrient_availability.svg Good luck and happy trails for the rest of the way 🤞 Servus OimRausch
