Bad taste buds - curing needed !

Hi mate, the process to cure is slow and bit tricky. You put the buds into jars when rh in the drying rooom, closet, whatever reaches 55%. When in jars with hydrometers you check the readings and when its above 62% you take the buds out of the jars and let the get air. The first days you must leave the for more time, as the rh in the jars lowers You reduce the time out of jars until rh is stable at 62%. Then you leave the jars alone in a dark place and the curing begins. You shouldnever leave buds above 62% max 63% closed for 24 hours because mold is sure. At this point you should check the smell and if it resembles ammonia then you have mold. Now in your case there are two scenarios. First scenario and best for you, you dried the buds too much so they could not get mold or be cured. In this case oil or has can be made. The worst case is that your buds are molded and should be thrown away cause its dangerous to smoke molded weed in any form (hash, oil). Hope I was helpful.
