So should I try the plastic bag with a rubber band over it first before cutting it off? Do I need to air the plastic bag?

You can and should cut a moldy branch. At least a couple of inches below where the mold appears to end as well. You can put a bag over it and secure it with a rubber band to first to stop mold spores from spreading.

Best way to control humidity?I have a 4 inch inline fan blowing in air at the bottom, I have a 4 inch inline fan sucking air out the top and a 4 inch fan to circulate air inside and a large 300 foot air dehumidifier in the tent but my humidity is still 50%-60% constantly. Well I messed up a little I just pulled out my sticks I was using to label my seedlings and I find this white mold on them. I removed the sticks and dirt around should I use an anti fungal thing? I already have had gnats too but treated for them. This living soil is no joke ehOther. Mold

Yellow/ brown SPOTS ON BOTTOM LEAVES PLEASE HELPI have noticed that leaves are getting a bit droopy and bottom leaves have yellow/brown spots. When I touched the leaf it basically crumbled even though they got watered day before. I had to cut a pair of leaves each few days ago, sprayed neem but something is wrong.... help pls5y ago

Expanded clay layer on bootom for better drainageIs placing a layer of expanded clay on the botton of your pot a good idea? i only tried small rocks before for the drainage but heard those claypellets might work better (and are lighter)...

Mám stan 1m² a v něm 9x11L květináče. Po zalití s 10-20% odtokem vody mám problém s vlhkostí vzduchu až 75%RH.Vlhkost mimo stan je 55%. Udělal jsem pro snížení vlhkosti vše (včetně přečtení všech grow questions na toto téma).Otázka je: jak ovlivní menší zálivka výslednou kvalitu?3y ago
