Nutrient Lockout or Nitrogen deficiency (i.e need more nutes) or Fungus (see stems)

My leaves are yellow but some are turning green. Do they need more nutrients or lockout? I have not gone above 1EC but have seen both strains handling 1.5EC+ in other diaries. All three plants are drinking the water in trays. Res/Tray@ 6.0PH/653PPM. Coco slurry @6PH/500PPM

Hi! I think everyone missed the thing that you are growing in coco and perlite mix and not in soil. Coco is soilless media and it needs to be treated like hydro pH wise. So you need to follow the rules of hydro grow with the pH, but nothing else has to change. So the optimum pH is 5.5-6 for good nutrient uptake. You might have and pH lockout going on if you have followed soil guidelines and also I personally think that 1 Ec is actually quite low 'cos I've found that in my hydro the sweet spot seems to be ~2ec. OFC every grow setup is their own and mine does not necessarily work for you, but you could lower the pH and if that does not help, give slightly more nutes. Also coco "sucks" calcium and magnesium so you need to add those a bit more when growing in coco.

Is 6.1PH+ the right level? I am using 50/50 Coco and from what I understand, Jacks has a PH of 5.9-6.1, which my plant is currently at 6.0. Am I hurting this by going to low? Thanks all!

Hello there jokgga, Your plants need a pH value between 6.2-6.5. Rehabilitate your soil using Canna Flush and Rhizotonic and change the nutrient concentrations. Good luck with your project, I wish you all the best! 👽

120-130ppm N is all you need. More will likely cause issues. 6.5pH is what you want with jacks. It is buffered to get to this point. Increasing to 6.5 will improve N uptake. Jacks is made to be used at 6.5, and i believe it mentions this on the lable or their website. You can find a PPM breakdown on their website somewhere too. full strength is something around 140ppm.. it's usually too high. don't know how autopots work, but if they recirculate, that adds complications. Otherwise, set it up to irrigate with 20% runoff each time and get rid of that water -- drain or outside, but not soaking your marijuana plants. Allow it to mostly dry.. this will guaranatee consistent concentrations in substrate, consistent pH, consistent mcriobial biome etc etc etc. I'd ditch the hydroguard unless you run into a lot of problems with dampening off... easy to avoid with good watering habits and without using an extra product.
