Cloning an Auto, anyone?

Anyone tried cloning an Autoflower during flowering? I’ve read that cloning Auto’s is not advised but I really want to preserve this pheno - sooo considering trying this and just curious if anyone has ever tried and what the results were...

It is too late to preserve that pheno unfortunately. This is how to preserve auto genetics for future reference. growdiaries.com/diaries/35956-how-to-make-autoflower-femenized-seeds

You could clone an auto, but it will give you a much lowered yield. - The reason being, that an auto have a predetermined lifespan.. Once it's germinated, it'll start working towards flowering. So the clone will have reached about the same part of its life as the mother plant. This will give a lower yield, as both the mother and the clone will stop their growth while healing up, and while stopping growth, they'll still move along their lifespan towards flower, so they'll both be a lot smaller than they would have been, once they finally reach the stage of setting buds. Basically, it's a waste to take clones of an autoflower.. You could however, buy some colloidal silver and make it pollinate itself to create feminized seeds. (Just don't smoke the plant you use colloidal silver on. - Like, really, do not do it.) It won't give you the exact same result as if cloning, but you'll have the same genes. Tho, about 1 - 5% of the seeds will be hermaphrodites, so take that into account..

Btw good looking plant, structure of amnesia haze wich is one of my favourite strains of all time. If you haven't tried it yet i suggest you give her a try, for me it gives off a trully psychadelic experience, like mushroom moderate to light dose level type high, i get visual distortions and shit, complete head twist with about 10% of body rush (yeah rush at first, relaxation after about 1h). Once again, stay lit growmie.

Well if you clone her she will still finish flowering and thats it, your probably better of getting more seeds, plant a bunch of them to hope to find a similar pheno out of the bunch, also get a regular version of the similar photoperiodic version, hunt for a male, spread the pollen all over the pheno you wish for, then let seeds mature, collect, then plant again a bunch of them and hunt for the pheno again, after getting 2 examples of the pheno you wished for a male and a female, cross them for stability, repeat the process once again for more stability, and then remember to always have a container full of those seeds you worked so hard to stabelize and make sure you have a high chance of getting that same pheno wherever you grow those seeds, the more you hunt for the pheno and dispose or place the others somewhere isolated to avoid cross polination, the more stable you will make the seeds be. Good luck growmie and stay lit, hope you can find a solution that fits you. 😉

The main reason you clone is that from 1 stem you can grow a whole new plant, it happens when you reveg you clone and make her grow , you cant reveg autoflowering , i think it will die or stay the size you cut it.
