So ive got abit of an extra for experts, couple of experimental ideas i have and i wonder if anyones tried. 1: havesting a plant then grafting a seedling into the havested plant stock, thus making use a an already established root ball? Any thoughts?

The existing root ball needs the plant above the ground to be able to sustain its health - its a two way thing - roots support the plant and the plant makes the energy for the roots to grow and exist. Grafting a seedling onto an older and much larger rootstock would mean most of the roots dying, if not all. due to the small seedling being unable to produce enough "goodness" and energy to keep the roots healthy. Sounds tempting, but as with most things in life, there are no free lunches! Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

Also ist damit gemeint den sämling im selben Gefäß anzuziehen wie die wachsenden Pflanzen wenn ich das richtig verstehe? Wenn ja macht es nur Sinn wenn er sämling einer krass wuchernden Sorte angehört da er sonst geringes wurzelwachstum haben wird weil er durch die großen eingeschränkt wird. Auf der anderen seine könnte es das konkurrenzwachstum anregen wodurch die Pflanze vermutlich deutlich stärker werden könnte 😎 aber wäre mir da nicht zu sicher kann auch einfach nach unten losgehen 😂

grafting works, but it's not useful, it's like the plant carries the shock with it for the remainder of its time. i use this special liquid on the graft to make it take. it works. looks cool... kinda. you want your "root ball" to be healthy though , think of how you want to harvest it to give it a fighting chance, that's my advice. Hope this helps ! 🚀
