DBannedanswered grow question 5y ago Hi,
Nice plants 🤤.
There are a few ways to determine when to harvest. By looking at the pistils, checking the plant leaves and looking at the thricomes.
The best way is looking at the thricomes with a jewellers magnifying glass, the crystals should look dense, milky(Almost plastic looking).
The other way is by looking at the pistils, most of them will curled up, no white hairs pointing up.
Yellow leaves indicate the life cycle of the plant it is coming to its end. From there, if you observed the plant most of the fan leaves start to turn yellow from the bottom up. Once most of the leaves, are gone you can decide to harvest. Usually 2 -3 weeks.
If you leave the plant longer than the first window of harvest, you can reach a sedative effect. You'll see the thricomes turning amber and red curled up pistils in most the plant.
Some people like the sedative effect others prefer the whiter more milky thricomes this is when thc of the plant is at max from there it loses potency and gives you a couch lock effect.
Happy harvest !!!!
