I noticed some darkening on the ends of pistil's, I'm guessing light burn?? Since they started the stretch daily, they were close to the light.. Any ideas??

Pistils come in, in waves. The first set comes in then starts to darken, then new pistils will appear and darken. When the tips of the pistils brown it is due to light/heat stress. You can see how the serations on the fan leaves are curling up, and how 3d the leaves look, this is due to light and or heat stress. Make sure your temps are good and back the light off a bit. Happy growing.

My temps are great, I'm using LED lighting, this happened in the course of one day, I have raised the lights higher above the canopy, but I am running out of room, 63" tent..

There's no question this is from light burn you can tell because the pistils have turned pale white or looked bleached. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

Grow lights I'm currently looking for a new grow light. But it's crazy how many choices there are. Since my grow area is very small, 40x40cm or 1x1', I don't need a lot of wattage. So would prefer to invest in quality over quantity. Any suggestions?

LED glass/plastic cover.Glass/plastic cover on cheap led lights.. do you remove them or not? From keeping reptiles I know that any glass/plastic will reduce UV. Just wondering if anybody's noticed any difference after removing the glass.

Light schedule So I got a new timer and messed up schedule. Plants got 16 hrs of light, turned lights out as soon as I noticed (5am). 11am-11pm light.(5 weeks into flower) Should I let plants have 12hrs dark now and resume 12-12 , or let lights come on at 11am(6hrs dark)

My grow tent is sitting in my basement, which normally sits at 10C in the winter, so I set the heat in the room to 18C and the LED and 2 fans heat it to 20.4C in the tent. Anyone have a similar setup but using their grow lights as a heat source? Heating a basement is expensive.

Is anyone else using Spider Farmer Lights ? How was the stretch on your plants using these lights ? My plants stretched from 10 inches to 30 inches in two weeks & another week of stretching left.😒 Not a big deal but I have a 60 inch tent , not a lot of room to LST.
