NEED SOME ADVICE! Change to LED from HPS? which ones are good for tent size? Which ones are good for good yields?

I've got a 4x4 tent with 8 seedlings in cups but will be in 11L pots. Currently I had a 600w HPS light but my ballast busted today. I have a back up CFL 150W not to mess up the light schedule. Thinking about changing to LED lights, I know it'll be cheaper but I want same yield...

Mars hydro TSW2000 (~300 real watts) gets excellent reviews (see for example dr. Cocoforcannabis: https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/equipment-products-guide/grow-lights/ ), but you can also take the bigger TS3000 model (~450 real watts) (the latter is actually imperative if you want te get about the same yield compared to a 600w HPS).

Fluence spydrx plus is one that will compare to a 1000w hps. It will produce almost as much at harvest as a hps. It will produce more than your 600 hps for sure.

So, Samsung LM301 diodes -- H or B whatever costs less as they are exactly the same. some red mixed in. doesn't have to be much... but some would be better than none. Heat dissipation.. QBs are often found with these diodes, but if they run hot AF they will not be as efficient as advertised nor last as long as advertised. This is what will set the good products apart from the trash. The diodes and running at a Amperage from .7-2.1 will be plenty efficient at a decent temperature. Lower amps just means more diodes, greater sunk cost to start, but greater efficiency overall -- greater efficiency may not = lowest cost over tme of ownership. But, i can be fairly sure the upfront cost will more than pay for itself over 5 years compared to less efficient led lights out there. or, even those with the righ tdiodes but poor heat dissipation. if the ydon't mention it, assume it is bad heatsink... contact company and ask them about it... if they can't give you specs, they like yhave a crap heatsink attached. i have a fan somewhat pointed at my lights and it runs cool to the touch. in bloom box they run a bit hotter at 1.4A but still lukewarm at worst spot in corners

Thats a bummer sorry to hear. The best brands I can recommend is HLG, Mars hydro, Spiderfarmer. You'll probably want to find one with a Dual spectrum so you can use from veg to flower, maybe add some red cfl bulbs mid flower if you can.šŸ‘
