So, Samsung LM301 diodes -- H or B whatever costs less as they are exactly the same.
some red mixed in. doesn't have to be much... but some would be better than none.
Heat dissipation.. QBs are often found with these diodes, but if they run hot AF they will not be as efficient as advertised nor last as long as advertised.
This is what will set the good products apart from the trash. The diodes and running at a Amperage from .7-2.1 will be plenty efficient at a decent temperature. Lower amps just means more diodes, greater sunk cost to start, but greater efficiency overall -- greater efficiency may not = lowest cost over tme of ownership.
But, i can be fairly sure the upfront cost will more than pay for itself over 5 years compared to less efficient led lights out there. or, even those with the righ tdiodes but poor heat dissipation.
if the ydon't mention it, assume it is bad heatsink... contact company and ask them about it... if they can't give you specs, they like yhave a crap heatsink attached.
i have a fan somewhat pointed at my lights and it runs cool to the touch. in bloom box they run a bit hotter at 1.4A but still lukewarm at worst spot in corners
