grow room ventilation

so I turned my closet into a 4x2 grow.. my prob is. I have no way of letting air in or out without opening the door. Its fine while I'm not working.. but when im not here all day what what would my best option be? Can't cut holes because the wife.

I had the same issue in a closet grow. I placed a 16" fan inside the rear of the closet, setting it at a downwards angle towards the gap of the door and the floor. You may be able to find a "sweet spot" by feeling how much air is coming out of the closet with the fan in different positions. I also tried the opposite by placing the 16" fan outside the closet to blow air in through the gap. Seemed to work better using it inside. You might also try using 2-6" fans one inside and one outside on opposite sides of the gap. Dropped my temps by a few degrees while also providing the much needed circulation.

Well thats what I'm saying I'm not planning on going back to work till next year so its fine rn.. but if I go out of town or something or when I do go back to work I'd like to have a plan lol..

well I didn't even think about co2.. do they make cheap sensors? Good thing is its right beside my front door so if I open both doors air goes straight in from outside.. the prob is that 8 hour stretch I might not be here.. i could leave the door open at that time.. onlyrhing I really have to hide is the sunlight look coming from the cracks of my closet when people are over lol

Maybe make some bottom of the door ducting, hook some ducting to a fan and suck some fresh air from the bottom of the door. Cheers

Then if you have to leave the door open then that's what you will have to do. A closed door with no ventilation isnt good. Even if you can keep heat down they will run out of c02 very quickly. Your plants will suffocate amslow death. Cheers

Do any body have any experience in making your own carbon filter?Thinking about making one from two steel mesh "ovals" with +-2cm in between. Humidity at night. Should I add a heater or...Lights on day, my temps are perfect, and my humidity is 55-59% at 74-80 degrees F. Night, temps drop to the 60s and humidity goes up to 70-78%. Using humidistat to control fan, will this cause problems? So far fan running for 30 secs every two minutes! Plz advise if this is not a good idea??My exhaust fan is to powerful no speed control just two settings. On the lowest setting the fan is still sucking all the humidity that my humidifier creates out of the tent. So I have bought a humidity controller hooked it up with the humidifier and fan.. Humidistat levels vary wildly between Inkbird and ETI humidistats..I have two humidistats, one is an Inkbird 200 for control, the other is ETI 810-195 just for display.. The ETI is showing roughly 9-10% higher humidity levels compared to the Inkbird. Does anyone know which is more accurate? I want it get these humidity levels just right 👌🏼Setup. Ventilation
