Carbon filter sleeve needed?

I use the carbon filter on the exhaust side. On the intake side, I have a dust screen mesh. The tent is quite clean so that’s why I don’t see the need of the pre filter. Would also probably load the inline fan a bit too. What’s you thought?

Inside/outside your cover HAS to be kept on Intake (sucking air into tent from filter the sleeve stops any dust and so on blocking the charcoal and helps perserve good air flow. (Also, if it gets really dusty, quick wash, not 100% needed, but extra clean airflow can only be good) If you're using it as a negative seal. (Same applies. You'll see a build up of yellow dust, real grimy, also, with exhaust "filter inside tent" the sleeve will stop any excess moisture and clogging up ur charcoal with mold and such. So, all in all. Keep in on.

as long as there's a mesh before it goes through carbon, kinda the same thing. becarful, some of those you have to switch the neck around to operate in opposite airflow direction. it will work better from inside and with negative pressure in tent, if the smell is very important for you.

I use mine(I use panyhose over my intake duct/lighttrap). Stuff can always get in while you have the door open. Then again, unless you're repacking the thing it's life span is only a year or two typically anyway.
