Yeah, autos grow a bit faster than photos, especially early on. As they need to get as big as possible over a span of 3 - 6 weeks, before they start flowering.

Slow growth / not spreading out much / compact plant. What gives ? Should I attempt to defoliate to get more light in there / pump more nutes ?Any advice on making it grow faster ? I'm in the 7th week of veg and it's not as bushy as it should. Still growing, just slow. It doesn't seem to want to spread much horizontally / fan leaves are staying relatively small. Who knows their soil ecosystems? Do beneficial or harmful gasses escape or intrude soil when the top layer is broken?I'm using nectar for the gods I'm starting to get a chalky crust on the top layer of my soil. So, when I water. Multi strain hydro, a recipe for disaster?Do you think it is a doomed idea to try and grow different strains with the same hydro solution in the same system?
