I’m growing in organic composted super soil and watering with plain collected rainwater. (My normal grow type these days) one of my girls, Dinachem, has a few lower fan leaves looking like this. Anyone able to tell me what’s going on here?

It’s not your water. I grow the same in organic soil with rainwater and you are right, pH is always 6.4-6.6 and ppm is around 6. The water is perfect, that’s why I ask what’s in the soil to buffer pH. Dolomite lime and oyster shell are two amendments that help keep your pH stable and also add cal & mag, but if your other plants are fine in the same soil, my only other guess is that maybe there aren’t enough beneficials in your soil and you need to replenish their population. Without them, your plant won’t get nutrients. A good compost tea would help. Recharge is another great option. Also, don’t water til runoff and don’t flush or else you wash away all the good stuff and then you’ll definitely need a compost tea.

I just use rainwater collected in my rain barrel, I don’t ph test every time I fill the watering can, but I test enough to know that the pH doesn’t fluctuate very much, it’s always between 6.8-7, being rainwater there’s almost no tds, but I’ve never had an issue since I started growing in organic super soil. Also the other plants this run are also from the same batch of soil with no such issues.

Looks like a pH issue. If your growing organic, this shouldn’t be an issue though. How did you build your soil? Any liming amendments to buffer pH?

That's called lockout. Basically the ph of your water is too high or low for optimum grow conditions. This causes what appears to be nutrient deficiencies which is what you've got. You need either test strips or a cheap ph pen from Amazon. You can either buy ph up and down OR baking soda to bring it up. And lemon juice to being it down. Anyway how to fix it is simple. Run just clear ph tested water through. If you are in a 5 gal grow bag, then run 2 gallons through it gently. Then let the soil dry out completely. This is called a flush. You are bringing the soil ph into line this way. Once the bag is feather light then resume normal feeding with ph balanced nutrient solution. And dont buy into this city water isn't good thing. I grew for almost 20 years in New Orleans and never had an issue with city water. Dont live there anymore by the way :)
