Are my top buds ready for harvesting

I have been growing my royal dwarf for over 8 weeks now. The trichomes on the top buds all look cloudy (no amber's yet) and I was wondering whether I could cut the top 4-5 buds? A lot of the pistils are still white but none of the trichomes are clear. Is it too early?

You could! But definitely shouldn't! I am not good at being patient. I find it incredibly hard to not cut and samplešŸ˜†, I get super excited. Remember when you pick up the snips.. "it will be so much more in a few weeks.." Plus If you cut now they will dry to almost nada.. Looking very nice mate šŸ‘

Cutting a few buds to try them during flower will ruin your plant! When the amber starts to show its ready! Check also the lower buds because the ones closest to the grow-lights will be ready before them. Stigmas should change color from white to a dark color. Sometimes it goes beyond the breederā€™s timeframe by 2 weeks or so....

Yeap, still too early. Shes got 2-3 more weeks in her. I won't even start checking trichomes until the pistils aren't fluffy and white anymore an the calyx have started swelling an "eating" the pistils.
