Bruce is starting to flower been though it's on an 18/6 cycle. Same for the other c99xblueberry fast. They say they are photoperiods. Can something other than lights for your plants to flower? Or is this normal for this cultivar? Al

Look up how fast versions are made. It’s an f1 of an auto crossed with a photo.. this USUALLY creates a quick triggering photo period, but occasionally that auto trait makes it to the f1 rather than further down the line like usual, if that makes sense

Yeah I post the question on another group too. The genetics reason make the most sense. They said that too. Guess I got autos now. Will just keep them growing and see how they turn out. Just took me by surprise.

Exactly what herbaledu said, cannabis will get primordia/pre-flowers once it reaches a certain age, but it will not start flowering until the light cycle is reduced. The small flower calyxes at the stem/leaf junction are just sexual identifiers, not flowering. They will continue veg growth, with the primordia, but will not flower in earnest until you change the light cycle. No need to stress.

It's just normal for a photoperiod in veg to show preflower on node at some point. The fact a plant show preflower doesn't mean she start to flower, she just showing you her sex.

No, not normal. The fast versions have ruderalis in it tho, so this can happen. I’ve had it happen actually with this exact strain ( c99xBB fast). If the Bruce isn’t fast, it should never happen like this. Probably seed mix up, companies do it all the damn time.

Sorry but methinks you've got two autoflowers going rather than photoperiods... Photos simply will not flower until they are "flipped" to 12/12 light cycle... this is the way many growers keep them in veg! Since your two are in flower in Week 6, these have to be autos... they usually will go into pre-flower week 3 or 4 and into flower week 5 or 6... I had the opposite problem... ordered autos and got photos... Just treat them the way you would a flowering photo and let them do their thing... you should have a minimum of 4 weeks in harvest, maximum maybe 10 or 12... but they'll tell you when they're done. Good luck...
