Fanning roots?

I'd like to know more about hydroponics, dissolved oxygen and getting air to the roots. If my roots are filling the PVC pipe and trapping water, am I risking not having enough oxygen? Could I scoop or force air through the pipe to help prevent root rot and even accelerate feeding

I drew a terrible diagram of what I'm thinking. https://ibb.co/QMV74Lq

Hello @gmslave, thank you for your time. I'm going to run a vertical (slight angle) PVC structure with Y joints for the pots. I want to pump water and drip it from the top through the root systems backs into the reservoir. I'm considering creating air flow via a computer fan that pushes air through the pipe to help prevent stagnation of sitting water. My concern is that the roots will trap water between feedings.

What system. Dwc or rdwc. If your making an rdwc setup use 2 inch pvc to avoid plugging up your pipes. Your air puck should be right in the buckets with the plants. Dissolved oxygen reaches max levels at 62 to 68 degrees. That's the temps need to maintain vigorous growth throughout your roots and plants. The cooler you can keep it the better., keeps root problems away. 5.8 ph is your sweet spot for veg. After you switch to flower and flowers form then 6.2 to 6.3 ph will be the sweet spot. Babies get fed at 400ppm to start and every week increase 100 ppm 0.2 ec if your seeing good growth, until you reach 800ppm1.6ec to 900ppm 1.8 ec. Cheers
