just simple smart outlet... how do you want to control it other than on/off?
a small light is fine, but don't use those cheap smart outlets for a 600-800w+ light. PRobably start a fire eventually even if rated as 15a. seen them melt.

i tested mars tsl version, mine was long , not wide, but TS, its very old series, despite that they have dimmers and conections to automate them aka connect to controlers. there is even adapters sold to fit conections.

When did the flowering start?The LED panel, after switching (Ts600 Mars Hydro), stayed slightly on even during the dark hours.
