@Frigault, bruh do you even glance at your composed response before posting? I feel you have a lot of valuable info in your responses, but ruined it with lack of review. Now , to answer.. yes you should judge watering on specifically what your plants are showing you/ experiencing.. even someone in the same exact situation as you- same seeds, climate, lights, environment.. will still get diff results based on pheno and genetics. Let them all dry out pretty thoroughly (this won’t harm it), feel that weight when they are thoroughly dry and commit it to memory.. now water/nute water until you have substantial runoff, now feel the weight and you should know the plants capacity. Factor in growth from week to week and feed according to a healthy wet/dry cycle

By the way.. never base yiu feeding and watering and a that what work fir me or that 20% run off.. without kniwing soil cobstitution abd wat your 20%... If i use 70% compost and 30 perlite. And he uses 100% abd you use 70% perlite 30% coco.. my 20% run off will be at around 4 gallon. And us at 1 gallon an you.. well at 500 ml... But uf my compist us dry.. my run of will be at 1 liter.. you'll all be okay but i'd be killing my plant slowly on a bad run to waste advice that orofessional don't recomend unless we know your watering are consistant..

That's not how it works.. ... 30% air 70% water. Is consider wet and fully watered. 30% water and 70% air is considered partial dried. On the other hand your soil compostision not to get to scientific. Perlite coco peat compost all have different water retention... Making it hard to gage... But its in 5 gallon. If 100% dry all thebair pocket are must be fille 70%.. of the total weight to make a complete watering.. when do you water again. That is the question that kills... If take 5 day to dry. You can water 29 the next day.. or skip thatb day and do 40%nthe seconde. Or a comllete watering 5 days later.. if yiubwere a machine you coukd feed it 1 drop everytime it takes 1 drop... So out 5 gallon if water pyt ut un a bin.. out yiu plant in it and let it siak up all the water ut can (leave for 30 minutes) lift the pkant (its heavy) let it run off... After uts nit dripping anymore This is what saturation point is.. now check what us in the bin... This will been the excess.. if the plant soakin 10 litters.. if it way 40 lb extra. Thenbwhen it weigh 24lb extra. Its at about 60%... If it drop to 18 lb.. you can add 1 pound of liquid... .. yiu can water every minute if its the right amount.. water to big amount too iften ut dies. Firgit to many times for to long it dies.. . Its gas simple and as compkucated as that... Water it allot once study hiw it dries.. poke a finger if ut dried 2 inch mist lighly (good time for foliar spray) or water later. If ut dried 4 inch abd moist then light water ir heavy mist. If its dry beliw 4 inch what are you waiting for...

You should water till you see about 20% of what you put in run out. For 5 gallon smart pots it's about 1.25 g for me. 🤘😤
