She still has her socks on? Hey Growmies.....anyone work though this situation in the past? This girl still has a membrane on the tip of her root. Planted her in coco and is slow coming out now. Thinking she will just push that and all is good....she is so slow though😳👍🙏

Don't know what it is, but it certainly shouldn't be there. Removing it without damaging the root tip would be almost impossible. Give her some time, she may pull through ok.

Did a dozen 3wks ago and half were like this.Just don't put more than a couple of grains of coco on top.Due to putting the seed in the final big pot I use a 1 litre left over plastic bottle with the lid on for a few days and once I see the first true leaves take the top of for a couple of days before removing completely.Its the perfect environment and saves buying plastic conches at £5 each.I always soak my seeds in water.I didn't eve take the seeds out this time,just filled that little vile up with water for 24hrs.Half had broken the shell by the time I put them in paper.Is that a bit of shell on the tip of that root?Iv not seent hat before but wouldn't worry.Seeds are amazingly strong.They can sit there for years and a little moisture and bang.

Make sure your humidity is high in the 60s 70s. So the shell can shed

Seedlings died, does anyone know why??Hello does anyone know why my seedling died. It looks dried up and dead. I germinated in a paper towel until 1/2 of root came out then planted in 65%FFHF 20% perilite and 15%wormcastings. I misted the top once a day when it appeared dry. Had in 3gal pots w/ a LED450W 28in away :(

Ethos Freebies wouldn't germinateGorilla Glue S1 Ethos. Extra Freebies seed. I dunk 2 in water. They open root out. Put it in pellet pre soak didn't work. I tried 2 more with ethos preferable method. Still no sign. Any suggestion. Different method? I still got 6 left.
