Fuck. First week of 12-12 and I almost accidentally top this plant. Broke the stem enough to cause it to bleed on one side. Think it will hold/heal?

Accidentally broke one side of this stem while attempting LST through a lattice. My idea was, instead of simply topping, to bend the plant downwards into the lattice to keep it down. Problem I'm trying to solve is plants keep growing too close to lights. Thoughts? ✌️

Seems they have outgrown their space. A good rule of thumb is to flip the switch to 1212 once you have achieved half your desired plant size. Some varieties can stretch two to three times once they've been flipped to flower. You may need to perform some late lst to control them but they will keep pushing on as it early in your flowering stage. Topping in this stage may stunt them entirely. I'm not 100%.

It is making a quick recovery. Now I am just worried about how to get the duct tape off. Thanks for your reply chickenburd

Hmm guess it will heal and apparently this happens all the time. Would it be a problem to just top the thing?
