Ideally you want the taproot to be about 2-3cm long before planting it into the soil (with the root pointing down and the seed up). This paired with proper conditions will ensure fast sprouting! Hope this helps! Good luck and happy growing :)

Germination issue - fastbuds auto cheese - why are the taproots taking so long to show?10 auto cheese seeds - 24 hours cup of water - tapped down, then 24 hours bottom of the glass, they pop and then 24 to 48 hours in damp paper sheets within two plates. has worked 100% of the time previously. 72 hours now - why so slow? whats wrong here? short taproot? thanks!

3/6 seeds not coming above ground After two weeks of having seen sprouts coming out of all 6 seeds between paper towels, I've only seen 3 come above ground. Should I wait just a bit longer, or carefully clear away the direct and check what's going on? Maybe they're growing upside down (had it once before)?
