Paper Towel dried up on me

Like an idiot I let the paper towel dry up while I was asleep, I'd say maximum 4/5 hours, as soon as I woke up I checked it and added more water but are my seedlings fucked anyway? They all seem to have opend slightly but yet to show their tap root. Thanks

You might be lucky. Keep them moist, not wet and hope. Try putting the paper towel on a plate then putting another plate on top of the plate with the paper towel/seeds. Obviously put the top plate on top upside down, so it make a type of "UFO" shape, this will help prevent the paper towel from drying out too quickly. Keep it out of direct wind and in a mildly warm area. Should be ok if the seeds themselves didn't dry out. Hope this helps..... Organoman.

i never had an issue having the paper towel dry up on me, but use a plate to cover up the seeds with the paper towel so they conserve the humidity better, if you're already doing this, ignore it. good luck and stay lit growmie, gotta have patience at this point.

Is growth normally this slow for seedlings? Any advice appreciated.These 3 seeds (of 12) germinated March 19-21; I transferred them to coco coir/perlite soil under 40W full-spectrum grow lights I also use for garden vegetable seedlings. Lights are on 16 hours; off 8 hours, and the seedlings have barely grown in the last 10 days. Is this normal?
