What’s going on here? Any help would be great. Currently using FF trio, yesterday she got her first feeding of open sesame(1/2 dosage)had major ph issues with tiger bloom had to add 3tbs of ph up to get back to 6.5. Run off was 5.8, 1900ppm.

Should I flush since my run off ppm is 1900? When I mix I never let the ppm exceed 1000, and she gets nutrients every other feeding. What are the best ways to approach flushing? Do I need to order something like sledgehammer or can I just water her with multiple gallons of ph water? I really didn’t like how much ph up she requires after tiger bloom, and other recommendations for a replacement? Thanks all!

1900ppm is crazy high. Okay this is from "the Growers Handbook Teaching of the GardenSage. I don't usually plug.. But if you are serious about growing.. Read that book. It's not my bible and I don't follow it to the letter but there is so much good information like this little tidbit. "Salts in water create high osmotic pressure. The only way this internal pressure can be relieved is increased dilution by attracting water. The more nutrient salts that are in a solution the more these salts will attract water making it unavailable for uptake by the roots. At 2000 PPM the osmotic pressure in a nutrient solution is so great that the roots have to struggle for water. This process may actually begin to draw water and salts out of the plant itself. The plants will start to show signs of nutrient deficiencies and, if more salts are added to "fix" the apparent shortage, the problem will only get worse."
