Wilting leaves and copper spots? Save Me!

NewJackWeed
NewJackWeedstarted grow question 4 years ago
These copper spots started appearing around 2021-01-28, and the wilting leaves started 2021-01-29. The newest additions to the environment were the much stronger MarsHydro 300w light. I've had to water more often because it dries out pretty quick with the rampant heat. what next?
Solved
Leaves. Wilting
Leaves. Color - Yellow
Leaves. Color - Mottling

Your plant is going through more nutrition and water, from light warmth and growth. With any deficiency I always suggest checking substrate ph via runoff. It that is in check then plant may need more nutrients. Faster growth requires more. Beside that add more air circulation and exchange to keep temp lower or remove drivers from lights and place outside grow area if possible. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊

I'm just a newbie here too on my first grow (starting around the same time as you). Got very similar problem with my Pineapple Express Auto grow - the pictures look very familiar. Mine's almost certainly happened because of self-inflicted overwatering issues. I'm just going to let my soil dry out thoroughly before watering again. It's not a quick fix but hoping it will do the trick.

The overwatering will give you a crappy root zone, leaves won't have to be wet or soft for it to be overwatered. I still think bad watering practice. Let it go dry, feel the pot, lift it and you'll know if it's dry all through or not. Look at the holes in the bottom if you have to to see if the soil is wet. When it's dried out give it a light feed (because of the yellow leaves) , and do it so you get a small trickle come out the bottom, not a gushin, a trickle, then it's watered through. Then give it a few days and lift the pot again and you'll get used to knowing when it needs water/feed. Atb

Unfortunately, I don't have the resources for RO water. I just started using bottled distilled after using bottled purified water. The leaves feel dry so I don't think it's overwatering.

Looks overwatered. Maybe a slight N deficiency. If you're using RO water, you might need calmag too.

I just did a quick slurry test and the pH is 5.05. I do have pH up/down on its way but not fast enough. The canopy is 19" from the light at ~95%. In a prior question I posted, I was told to keep that baby cranked to +90%. Now I should turn it down to 70%? To test is she needs watering, I usually feel the soil knuckle deep, pick up the pot to see how light she is, and check the deeper soil with a moisture meter.

Hey Mate, Are you running your light @ 100%? And your pH is a bit low for soil imho. Seem to me it's wether light stress or she don't like the to acidic soil... First of all I would dimm the light down to 70% and look how she's developing further. Good luck and happy trails for the rest of the way 🤞! Servus Oim.

Have you been letting it dry out fully, through the pot, before watering again? Or do you just wait for the top to go dry?
