you really don't have to flush in coco unless you've get a major catastrophe on hand.
soilless is a quick changeover with just a little extra runoff. Even normal fertigation (every time in soilless) should have at least 10% runoff waste water. It maintains the charge and consistency of the substrate, which is part of the advantage of soilless growing. every irigation, fertilize with 10% runoff. easy as pie. drippers on a timer will work fine too. make sure it saturates entire pot and has sufficient runoff.
you'll need to tweak formula, but you'll likely find a happy zone somewhere around 1,3 to 1,5 EC total concetration of nutrients -- your water may add more andthat's generally okay as long as it isn't too much. you'll primarily be tweaking ratio of individual nute components until the plants remain happy long-term.
I would suggest a 7-8-15 ratio for vege. maybe drop N 10% in bloom. This will give you roughly 120s N / 60 P / 200 K give or take in the 1,3 - 1,5 EC range total. Ca should be greater than 100, Mg greater than 75 and keep S below 110.
if you start there, you won't have much adjusting to do. every garden can be different. there are a number of relativistic factors that impact rate of growth, and that will impact the rate of nutrients you need to provide (aka EC and individual concentrations of each nutrient in balance with need). It's a complex web. this will be close and minor tweaks based on observances will be needed.
once you get some consistency, your timeframe becomes weeks and months as opposed to what happens daily. small issues may aris, but they will take weeks to see. it's important to take notes about what you do and how much you give... even tracking temps /RH may illuminate some preemptive adjustments to match growth rate based on historic trends. I have 4 seasons here. I definitely noticed different needs under slightly different temps/rh combinations. only by looking back at entire grows and seeing how i kept having to adjust in similar ways around the same time each year, lol...
anything that affect growth rates affects rate of nutes you need to provide. i onlay grow in 1 season now. easier to control temps and RH in winter for me.
it's worth being a little anal to start with soilless grows. manic botanix has an online ppm calculator, for example. jack's put my in a good ballpark to start, thank god, but now i've got a formula that works well on 95% of anything i put in the ground. Usually the only problem children are the genetically defective ones. I do notice different N needs a bit, but usally can find a happy zone for 7-8 strains pulling off same reservoir with no blemishes in canopy until very late in flower and only mildly. it's worth it.
