Sure. The key is to have your feed and runoff to be as close to the same ppms as possible. If the runoff is higher, reduce your ppms. If the runoff is lower, increase your ppms.
Now, it should be mentioned that if your pH is off, this will affect nutrient uptake so always make sure your meter is accurate and calibrate as often as you can stand. Swings in temperature will also affect how much water vs nutrients they take in so keep that in mind too.
