i don't think those ratios will have consistent result, but could be wrong.
plenty of people make gaia green work well, so i'd look for diaries using that fertilizer. 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 alone won't do it on their own, or at the least won't work on a wide variety of seeds. gonna have too high or too low P/K depending on which is in the happy zone. any different in rate of release or rate of becoming available to the plant adds wrinkles.
if you go with promix + perlite (or similar) just treate it like a soilless medium. megacrop, crop salts, jacks 321, southern ag, masterblend all sell awesome 3-part fertilizer for soiless/hydro context. Out of the box, should work well with 90-95% of anything you plant with minimal tweaks.
