hey there BD, basically the plant should recover by itself when it follows the wet dry cycle, so during the dry part of the cycle the plant should already recover. If you're still seeing downward pointing leafs and leaf tips, then the overwatering caused some root issues, probably something like water mold on the roots. Sometimes this happens because the medium absorbs more water especially in the center of the pot, so if it never gets dry, you can get some bad bacteria and this will cause the symptoms you're seeing. To fix the roots, you need to add something like enzymes, h2O2 , beneficial bacterial or better : humic and fluvic acid. this will break down the problem roots and the plant should almost immediately recover.
