Slow bud development

Hi guys, quick question cause I'm a bit concerned. Bought Barneys Farm Pineapple express auto and I'm currently 25 days into flowering but the buds do not seem to be developing. I'm getting loads of pistils and sugar leaves but barely any proper bud or trichomes. Anyone familiar?

@peggers surely since they're autoflowers light leaks don't matter? I'll keep them on 18 hour a day and see how they do

first thought was light leaking into your grow space when the light is off. might be a lockout, tho plants are not full blown developing buds till week number 5 of flowering so you should probably just hold out maybe take some pictures and compare it a day of 2 later to verify, also it would give you an opportunity to wait for any issues that there might be to present themselves abit more clearly if any at all.

Blurple lights for you. I always found the grow takes longer and buds don't swell as much. White light LEDS are the way to go. They have the red and blue spectrum , plus green . Which is better at penetrating the canopy and promotes flower development. You will still get a decent yield this time, but a top quality light will give you dank bud and take less time . They can be pricey but worth it in the long run. 👍🌱

I should probably mention the seeds bank said that these are supposed to have a flowering time of 30 days only

This is normal, the buds don't really start gaining weight until the last few weeks of its life cycle. So I'd say your right on schedule.
